On April 1, 2026, our colleague Thomas Wiese has celebrated his 25th anniversary with AKVA.
This makes Thomas part of an exclusive group of eleven colleagues who have been with our company for more than 25 years—a fact we are very proud of and deeply grateful for.
With his many years of experience, technical expertise, and profound knowledge of AKVA, Thomas makes an important contribution every day to the ongoing development of our company and the entire waterbed industry. He is exactly the kind of employee every company wishes for—dedicated, reliable, and remarkably versatile. Thomas doesn’t just have ideas—he puts them into practice and continues to refine them, including in his work for the German Waterbed Association e.V.
As a vital link between our customers and production, Thomas is highly valued as a salesperson, sleep coach, and colleague. Together, we have transformed the waterbed from a simple product into a technically advanced sleep system whose ergonomic properties bring greater rest and well-being to people all over the world—including as multisensory beds for therapy and spa environments. In times marked by high speed, stress, and restlessness, this is more important than ever.
All of us at RY warmly congratulate Thomas on his jubilee. AKVA would not be where it is today without people like him, and we look forward to many more successful years together.
