Judging by the feedback we have received over the years it certainly seems to be a highlight for our guests during their visit to Denmark. It's something you don't otherwise get to experience as a tourist, although you may stay in a nice hotel and visit the many attractions we have to offer as well as wonderful restaurants, - sitting down with local people in their home around the dinner table for a traditional Danish home-cooked meal and great conversation gives you another insight into the Danish culture. "What a wonderful time we had dining with the Danes. Our friend from Northern Germany had arranged the experience as a surprise for us while we were visiting Copenhagen. It was absolutely great! Although the food was very good, my husband and I felt the highlight of the evening was meeting and conversing with Maria and Bjorne. 'We had a wonderful time last night with our hosts, Mads & Nana & their children. We've been travelling extensively and visited Tokyo, Paris, Bordeaux, London & Manchester. Copenhagen has been a real highlight and Dining with The Danes was the highlight whilst in Copenhagen. I'm still puzzled as to how everyone here is so friendly and helpful. We are now at the airport ready to board our flight back to Sydney and I'm very sad to be leaving. We'll be back to visit Copenhagen that's for sure'.
