Small shelf. Big imagination 🤎

We love seeing our furniture find new roles in everyday life.

Here, has brought our small Rib wardrobe shelf into the children’s room - creating a little wardrobe for doll clothes, with room for favourite treasures on top.

A simple idea that shows how even a small piece of furniture can become part of play, storage and everyday life.

Rib is made from bamboo and comes in two sizes.

This is the small version - choose the larger shelf when you need a little more room, or mix and match the two to create what works for your home.

Autumn is on its way 🍂

The days are getting shorter, leaves are beginning to fall, and life in the garden is slowly changing pace.

It’s also the time of year when we start thinking a little more about our friends with wings.

A bird table creates a small gathering place in the garden - somewhere to stop by, share a meal and bring a little life to the view from our windows as the seasons change.

Rain outside, good company inside ☔️

Gothenburg may have welcomed us with a little rain, but inside Möbelmässan Göteborg the atmosphere has been warm from the very beginning.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand yesterday - for the conversations, the interest in our collections and, not least, for making our first day in Gothenburg such a good one.

Outdoor living, wherever you live.

In 2027, a new collection is joining the Cinas family - Livo.

First up is Livo Lounge, combining teak with a light, understated frame and soft cushions - creating a relaxed place to sit without taking over the space around it.

And that makes Livo particularly at home where outdoor space is precious.

On a city balcony. A small terrace. Or a quiet corner in the garden.

Wherever you find room for life outside.

This is only the beginning of Livo - and we look forward to sharing more from our new collection.

The last day of meteorological summer ☀️

August 31 marks the last official day of summer here in the Northern Hemisphere.

Tomorrow, autumn begins.

But luckily, no one told the garden 🤍

There are still sunny afternoons to enjoy, cups of coffee to take outside and those last warm rays to catch - perhaps with a blanket close by.

So we're not quite ready to say goodbye to outdoor living yet.

We are not the only ones with a soft spot for bamboo 🐼

As summer slowly begins to make way for autumn here in the North, our attention starts moving indoors too.

And that brings us to a material we have worked with for many years at Cinas: bamboo.

Light in expression, strong by nature and instantly recognisable by its straight fibres and warm, organic character.

Over the years, bamboo has found its way into several of our collections - from Skala, through RIB, to Elvo - each using the material in its own way.

From bathrooms and hallways to kitchens and living spaces, bamboo is part of many of those smaller pieces of furniture we live with every day.

And yes. Apparently, we share our appreciation with a rather famous bamboo enthusiast 🐼🤍

Some furniture stays outdoors a little longer 🤍

Here in the North, there comes a time when dinners slowly move back indoors.

The evenings get cooler. The table is cleared. Summer is beginning to let go.

But the garden bench stays outdoors a little longer.

For a morning coffee. A conversation with a good friend. A quiet moment in the afternoon. Or simply a good place to lie down and do absolutely nothing for a while.

Perhaps that is one of the reasons we have always had a soft spot for benches at Cinas.

Our Rosenborg bench has been part of the collection for many years – made for gardens, terraces and all those small everyday moments in between.

A new chapter in wood 🤎

For the past few years, we have wanted to introduce acacia wood to the Cinas collection. But finding the right material also means finding the right people to work with - and we were prepared to wait.

Now, we have found the right partner.

So in 2027, our Everyday collection is growing with a new deck chair crafted in acacia wood - accompanied by, among other pieces, a small coffee table.

Made for those little places outside that become part of everyday life. A balcony above the city, a quiet corner in the garden or a place by the coast.

Different settings. Same invitation to sit back for a while.

And if you are curious to see it in real life, we will be showing our new acacia pieces for the very first time at Möbelmässan Göteborg this September.

Sometimes a piece of furniture just belongs 🤍

Our Brighton two-seater bench in classic green has found its place here - right by the door, surrounded by brick, flowers and everyday life.

A small spot to sit, take a break and watch the world go by.

Although apparently, someone else has already claimed it 🐇
