From Belém, the gateway to the Amazon, we launched a manifesto for policymakers and world leaders ahead of COP30: a call to action to rewire our economic systems so they serve people, communities, and the planet. 🌎

The climate crisis is also a governance crisis, and pledges alone are not enough when the underlying structure of business remains unchanged. Hear from our B Lab team as they break down our message and explain why this moment demands a complete reimagining of business’s role in society. ⚖️

Now, we need the collective voice of the B Corp community to make this call impossible to ignore. 🗣️ Add your signature to the COP30 Manifesto by November 5.

We just reached 1000 B Corps in Europe 🥳 🌍

Together, B Corps work hard to make a positive impact on people and the planet, and as a united community, our actions can go even further.

Today, the growing B Corp movement is transforming 157 industries in 26 European countries, engaging +85,000 B Corp employees and impacting the lives of people across Europe.

Yesterday the B Beauty Coalition launced, with founding members from the Nordic B Corp Community, SKANDINAVISK and Rudolph Care as well as international players as Davines Thebodyshop and Rituals Cosmetics.

The ambition is to radically change the footprint of the beauty industry and we salute this!

WOW!!!! This is huge for Kaffe Bueno! Congratulations from the Nordic B Corp movement to all of you Alejandro Franco Juan Pablo Medina Camilo Fernandez - your dedication and drive is amazing!

BIG NEWS! 🚀
The European Innovation Council (EIC - The European Innovation Council) has awarded Kaffe Bueno a €2.5 Million grant to build Europe's 1st Coffee Bio-Refinery.

This photo was in November 2019, when we first went through the last stage of the application and were invited to pitch for the European Commission jury in Brussels. That time we failed. We applied again, and failed again. But we never gave up.

Now, 2 years later, Kaffe Bueno has evolved, positioned itself in the market, grown the team, demonstrated demand for its products and achieved key milestones that led to the EIC panel believing in its scale up potential, and most importantly, the urgent need for our solution.

We are among the 65 deep-tech companies who were awarded a grant, from over 4,000 applicants.

For centuries, coffee has mainly been used to produce the caffeine-infused beverage the world loves. But coffee is much more than just a beverage. In fact, Coffee is NOT a beverage. Coffee is the most underutilised resource on Earth. And Kaffe Bueno exists to change how the world sees coffee by unlocking 100% of its potential.

This is exactly what we will use the grant for.
We will change how the world sees coffee forever.

B Corps her, der og alle vegne på Circular Furniture Days 2021

Lyt med til engagerende debatter, hvor der sættes fokus på udvalgte og aktuelle emner målrettet møbelindustrien!

I næste uge åbner vi dørene op til Circular Furniture Days 2021 på Designmuseum Danmark. Her kan du bl.a. deltage i debatter, hvor du kan møde og høre om inspirerende first-mover- og disrupter-virksomheder, der kan påpege cirkulære brændpunkter og en vej til løsning af disse.

Torsdag d. 16. september er der to talks:

11.00-11.45 -"Recycled Materials – best case use for popular materials"
Hvordan kan interiørvirksomheder arbejde med genbrug og affaldsmaterialer?
Vi inviterer fire banebrydende møbelvirksomheder til at tale om, hvordan de fandt den bedste måde at genbruge et materiale på.

Men én ting er at bruge genbrugsmaterialer, en anden er genbrug af eget affald – til dette perspektiv inviterer vi affaldsmateriale-virksomheden THE UPCYCL til at dele deres erfarringer.
