A proper Friday case! 🍻🎨

Identity refresh for Syd for Solen. The Copenhagen festival is shifting to a mixed-genre format, instead of assigning one genre to each day. The conceptual switch meant a rethink and refresh was needed.

The idea was to make each year of the festival feel unique, and stand out. Based on a yearly theme, we collaborate with invite an exciting international visual artists to bring their interpretation to life, through a series of digital art works.

Syd for Solen brings the most ambitious international musicians to Copenhagen, so what better person to work with as the first one than motion artist Cecilia Erlich. She has created a set of unique poetic and visual artworks, which perfectly matches the energy of Syd for Solen. They now serve as the main element and color system, while we are maintaining several key components from the initial identity from 2024.

Complete redesign for iconic Norwegian outdoor (friluftsliv) brand Balancing browsing and exploration with conversion and speed. 🏔️🌲🌊

The creative concept for the site and design was to mirror the energy and competence of a seasoned nature guide. Knowledgable and full of stories to share.

Always with charm and impeccable timing. Focused on making you feel “never in a rush”, by helping you find what you were looking for, but also explore the new. Sometimes speeding up to get to the final destination and other times slowing down to appreciate the moment and view.

And most importantly making you feel welcome and important.

Thanks for the collaboration to the wonderful Amundsen team and to Try (formerly known as Frend Ecommerce) for doing a great job on the development side of the project.

“Acne Studios has officially launched its new denim personalization program, allowing buyers to remix iconic denim styles with symbols, letters, and numbers created by the label. Denim is a core part of the brand’s history, spanning back to the brand’s origins in 1996 when Acne Studios’ creative director Jonny Johansson started the label by gifting 100 pairs of jeans to artists, creatives, and friends of the house.

Celebrating the launch of the new project, the label enlists photographer Thistle Brown to shoot the campaign. Images feature artist and model Lily McMenamy — recalling the spirit of the ’70s and body painting. The personalization pieces are found in a selection of washes including vintage black and light blue across classic jean styles and Morris’s jackets. Custom markings are available in 6 thread colors ranging from Acne Pink to Cathay Spice and each piece can consist of four characters, three letters/numbers, and one symbol. Symbols are playful and were chosen to represent “love, positivity, and inclusivity.”

Acne Studios’ personalized denim offerings are now available on the Acne Studios website and in stores. A limited run of 60 pieces mirroring the symbols from the campaign is also available for purchase.”
