In collaboration with Copenhagen-based brand , Fritz Hansen has reupholstered a series of Dot™ stools using fabric remnants from Another Aspect’s own production - guided by a simple idea: to work with what already exists. Burgundy tweed is paired with a contrasting Japanese textile, with Arne Jacobsen’s compact design allowing even small offcuts to be used rather than discarded. Placed in café inside Another Aspect’s city-centre store, the Dot becomes part of everyday use.

Alongside the stools, surplus leather from Fritz Hansen’s upholstery workshop has been transformed into a limited run of leather accessories - bags and belts - reworking unused pieces into practical, long-lasting objects. A project shaped not by new materials, but by working with what already exists.

For artist and designer Jaime Hayon, design is about more than aesthetics — it’s about meaning. Influenced by everything from baroque art to skateboard culture, his playful, expressive universe combines artistic freedom with a deep respect for craftsmanship.

Since 2011, his collaboration with Fritz Hansen has brought that sensibility to life through pieces that enrich the spaces we live in. From vases to candleholders to furniture, Hayon’s designs for Fritz Hansen balance humour and harmony, imagination and longevity — design that speaks to both heart and home.

Solae grew out of a world of observation — an exploration of geometry, light, and how an oval profile can shape a space.

“I wanted it to be slim, clear and architectural with sharp defined edges, no seams or unnecessary details. It has a direction — the oval profile can be placed either sideways or longways, and you can use it on a table to define space.” — Cecilie Manz

As days grow shorter, the right light brings warmth indoors and out. Solae moves effortlessly with you — from a reading corner to the dining table, or out onto the terrace on crisp autumn evenings.

With three light settings, Solae transforms from focused brightness to a gentle sunset glow. Its seamless aluminium form is crafted for durability, while the finishes — Light Green, Warm Grey and White — blend naturally into any home.

A companion for the season: Solae carries light wherever you need it.

Coffee by the greenhouse. Books under the tree. Dinner that lasts until it’s dark. For stylist Sophia Roe and photographer Philip Messmann, life in Asserbo moves outdoors as soon as the weather allows.

Their summerhouse garden is an open invitation—to slow down, stay longer, and enjoy pieces that grow more beautiful with time. “We choose less, but better,” they say.
