Their clients are international hotel chains, architects, producers, fahion labels, local speciality stores, agencies and private customers.

As part of CURRENTS, the new design festival in Berlin, the former window blinds factory - JALOUSIEFABRIK - in Berlin-Kreuzberg will open to the public for a few days, coinciding with Art Week, for the first time in decades.

In operation as a window blinds factory from 1900 to 2020, the space still features untouched historic machinery alongside a well-preserved residential wing with 1950s architectural details.

Fourteen Perspectives Offering an Overview of Design and Architecture in Berlin. The participating exhibitors will each present their work in the various spaces, showcasing the wide range of Berlin’s contemporary design and architecture scene.

OSIS is a process of ongoing evolution — salt, pigment, and wood in constant dialogue. Out of our latest studio developments, a new set of shades has emerged to expand the possibilities for your next custom piece, table, or shelving unit.

06_21 CHICKPEA: A warm, light beige where big salt chunks draw out soft, deep caramel pigments.
01_46 PLUM: A rich, reddish-purple displaying organic, cell-like shapes with dark pigment centers.
06_11 FLOW: A cool slate-blue defined by bold, rock-patterned structures and a striking yellow gradient.
04_24 FANGO: An earthy dark brown with a dense sprinkle of fine speckles for a deeply intricate texture.

Traditional Japanese vernacular meets cutting-edge design at The Artificial Life Institute in Kyoto’s historic Gojo district. For this renovated teahouse by ., we supplied our OSIS surface in warm grey for the custom-built cabinet. The handmade, organic texture adds a beautiful, nature-inspired layer to the main meeting room, sitting in stunning contrast with the rich material palette of traditional tatami mats and oxidised copper. 📸 Edvinas Bruzas

This new iteration of FRAN introduces refined hardware that brings an understated industrial contrast to the lamp’s organic form. The canopy and top fitting are crafted from raw brushed aluminium, left unfinished to reveal the material’s natural texture and matte sheen. A transparent plastic cable replaces the black cord, preserving the lightness and playfulness of the FRAN family.

The spaces that shaped the sound. Inspiration for new album ‘The Essence” by Paul Kalkbrenner was the interior of an apartment designed by .berlin. llot llov’s FRAN Lamps with layers of hand-finished raffia fringe cascade into a statement pendant.

OSIS surface is now available as a veneer sheet for use in architecture, furniture and product applications. The sheet is produced from rotary-cut birch wood. At 1 mm thickness, the veneer is highly flexible, making it suitable for curved surfaces and complex geometries. Each sheet measures 1525 × 1525 mm and is finished with PUR lacquer, giving the surface its characteristic depth and durability. The birch veneer is FSC 100% certified and PEFC approved.

Precision in every intersection. The Osis COMPLETE Table features a tabletop composed of five circles, each with grain patterns running in opposition. This handcrafted marquetry creates a surface that refuses to be static, responding to the light and the movement of the room. The table is a unique piece custom made for a private client.
