ROCKFISH Games was founded by mobile games veterans Michael Schade and Christian Lohr, who have been joint entrepreneurs in the space of 3D graphics for over 20 years. As founders and managers of Fishlabs Entertainment, they spearheaded 3D mobile gaming for almost a decade until the studio failed to cope with the transition from premium to free-to-play games on mobile platforms. While working hard
on new titles and holding together an 80-headed team in tough times, the two founders were eventually forced out of the studio they had built over so many years. With nothing left but their reputation and their industry network they started from square one with a new vision: to enter the PC and console games business and get their best team members back on board. Today, they are working on a new core action game with a dozen key members mainly of their old crew, leveraging the Unreal Engine 4 and focusing on the qualities that led to the production of over 30 high-quality, premium 3D mobile games during the past 10 years.
