Sometimes, a new detail changes the whole room.

A-N-D (short for A New Detail) has been part of our showroom selection for years. What we value about the Vancouver-based lighting brand is the way they think beyond the object itself: light becomes part of the architecture, shaping surfaces, creating depth and changing the atmosphere of a space.

Before & after only shows two moments.

What it doesn’t show are all the decisions in between.

At the beginning of a project, a space can feel unfinished, unclear, sometimes even chaotic.

Our job is to look beyond what is currently there and understand what the room can become.

To imagine proportions before the furniture is in place.
To know which materials will work together before they meet.
To make decisions about layout, lighting, colours and details while the final picture still exists mostly in our minds.

And then there is trust.

Good interior planning also means taking our clients along in that process and helping them see the potential we already see and giving them the confidence that every individual decision is leading towards the right result.

This project for Dr. med. Anna Brandenburg shows a part of this process.
