An interior concept was developed for the redesigned lobby of the Hyatt Union Square in New York that blends the energy of Manhattan with timeless elegance. In collaboration with Legeard Studio, a space was created that harmoniously combines mid-century aesthetics, modern details and a welcoming atmosphere.

Our two bespoke carpets serve as a unifying element within the concept. With their unique designs, they give structure to the spacious lobby, echo the interior’s design language and emphasise the room’s special character as a vibrant meeting place in the heart of New York City.

Für die neugestaltete Lobby des Hyatt Union Square in New York entstand ein Interior Konzept, das die Energie Manhattans mit zeitloser Eleganz verbindet. Gemeinsam mit Legeard Studio wurde ein Ort geschaffen, der Mid Century Ästhetik, moderne Details und eine einladende Atmosphäre harmonisch vereint.

Unsere zwei maßgefertigten Teppiche fügen sich dabei als verbindendes Element in das Konzept ein. Mit individuellen Designs strukturieren sie die großzügige Lobby, greifen die Formsprache des Interiors auf und unterstreichen die besondere Wirkung des Raumes als lebendigen Treffpunkt im Herzen von New York City.

For the Mars-themed area within the Engelhorn store at GridX in Luxembourg, a textile interior concept was created that combines atmosphere and materiality in a refined way. At its centre is the JAMAICA carpet, whose natural sisal look and warm, earthy tones evoke associations of rock, sand and glowing sunsets. Especially in combination with the purist architecture, the fine sisal texture creates a distinctive presence and adds depth, structure and character to the space.

The classic sisal carpet is given a modern and sophisticated interpretation while also supporting the zoning and spatial flow of the area. The result is a retail environment that subtly captures the atmosphere of Mars and makes the concept of the themed world tangible throughout the Engelhorn sales floor.

Für den Themenbereich Mars im Engelhorn Store im GridX in Luxemburg entstand ein textiles Ausstattungskonzept, das Atmosphäre und Materialität gezielt miteinander verbindet. Im Mittelpunkt steht der Teppich JAMAICA, dessen natürliche Sisaloptik und warme, erdige Nuancen die Anmutung von Gestein, Sand und Abendrot aufgreifen. Gerade im Zusammenspiel mit der puristischen Architektur entfaltet das feine Sisalgewebe eine besondere Wirkung und verleiht der Fläche Tiefe, Struktur und Charakter.

Der klassische Sisalteppich erhält hier eine moderne, hochwertige Präsenz und unterstützt gleichzeitig die Zonierung sowie die räumliche Wirkung des Bereichs. So entstand innerhalb der Engelhorn Verkaufsfläche eine Themenwelt, die den Charakter des Planeten Mars subtil und atmosphärisch erlebbar macht.

An interior design concept was developed for the top floor of the Douglas store in Cologne that deliberately combines design, comfort and the visual impact of textiles. High-quality materials and carefully coordinated spatial solutions create lounge areas with a modern, tranquil atmosphere, lending the space a clear design identity.

A particular highlight are six NIMBO armchairs by Lucie Koldova, upholstered in our striking GLIMMER fabric. With its expressive texture and subtle sheen, the upholstery adds elegant accents whilst bringing depth and character to the space.

The concept is complemented by fabric curtains that divide the space into zones, direct sightlines and create an atmospheric structure within the open-plan area. The result is a harmonious overall look that showcases the Douglas brand world in a modern yet understated manner.

Für die oberste Etage des Douglas Stores in Köln entstand ein Ausstattungskonzept, das Design, Komfort und textile Wirkung gezielt miteinander verbindet. Hochwertige Materialien und fein abgestimmte Raumlösungen schaffen Aufenthaltsbereiche mit einer modernen, ruhigen Atmosphäre und verleihen der Fläche eine klare gestalterische Identität.

Besonderes Highlight sind sechs NIMBO-Sessel von Lucie Koldova, bezogen mit unserem markanten Stoff GLIMMER. Mit seiner ausdrucksstarken Struktur und dem subtilen Schimmer setzt der Bezug elegante Akzente und bringt gleichzeitig Tiefe und Charakter in den Raum.

Ergänzt wird das Konzept durch textile Vorhänge, die einzelne Bereiche zonieren, Sichtachsen lenken und die offene Fläche atmosphärisch gliedern. So entsteht ein stimmiges Gesamtbild, das die Markenwelt von Douglas auf moderne und zugleich zurückhaltende Weise inszeniert.
