Salesman
Our company deals with the sale and distribution of graphical and packaging grades of paper in the Middle East. We work closely with some of the biggest paper mills in Asia and Europe to provide our customers with excellent service and support.
The company is currently seeking to recruit the services of a Salesman with an EU passport (due to travel requirements) to join our team. This position will require frequent travel abroad, mainly to the Middle East, so the chosen candidate must be able to travel to countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan etc. The chosen candidate will also be expected to cold call in order to secure new clients, so we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a high level of customer service.
We are searching for someone that matches the following general criteria:
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must.
- Arabic language would be seen as an advantage.
- Minimum age of 25.
- At least 2 years experience in corporate sales.
- Experience in the Pulp & Paper Industry and market knowledge would be preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and plenty of initiative.
- A hard-working individual who is willing to take on new challenges, and learn new things.
- Capability to meet sales goals, maintain sales volume and target new clients is a must.
- A confident, well-spoken person with the ability to interact and build relationships with customers of various nationalities with plenty of tact.
- Ability to follow instructions, and take direction.
- First-rate knowledge of Microsoft Office; in particular word processing and spreadsheets, Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer.
