Personal project!❤ Got this old piece longtime ago from a woman in Lausanne. Painted in matt black & ornamented with blackish-gold tacks. It has found it's spot in the apartment😀

Chair #4: Painted in a "homemade" mauve. The fabric is about travel/freedom/time. It evokes a sense of nostalgia! We wanted to fly away & go back in time to write letters instead of emails!🙃

Chair #3: inspired from the shabby chic furniture style we painted the chair 1st in a homemade turquoise colour, then layered it with a black which was sanded off at few spots. This effect is light and can only be seen when one is pretty close to the chair! The fabric is white with grey pattern.

Chair #2: Painted in anthracite which has slight glimmery look to it. Fabric is blue Indian silk with paisley motifs in blue & fuschia thread. Te fabric changes colour slightly depending how it reflects light.

We got 6 of these antique style chairs with the aim to experiment with different fabrics, colours and trims.

Chair #1: We painted this chair in a special "homemade" grey colour that would go well with the floral motif fabric we had in stock. We used copper tack strips as trim.

A client asked us to redesign a sofa and 2 chairs that belong to her husband's family. She wanted it to fit in with her white interiors. We chose this fabric with her which blends perfectly with the wood. The black mat tacks(nails) give this piece a contemporary & dramatic look. This piece will fit in beautifully!

Fun facts: we did not stain the fabric while working on it🤞🏼! Yaaay💃

Hammering those tacks in killed us or maybe we developed some muscles we didn't know existed! 😅 well we had dreams of us tacking everything including our husbands and kids🙈

But what a satisfaction it is when you see the end of a big piece! Done✅ ready to deliver💪🏼
