In the last year or so, I’ve really come to embrace the value of gratitude.

I’m grateful for my family, friends, the people I work with, and the opportunities I have been able to pursue.

More than that though, I am grateful for the mistakes I have made, missteps I’ve taken, and all that I have learned as a result.

I believe that gratitude is a key to success, and a lot of learning and even silver linings can be found in difficult situations.

This is a funky hutch I built for some fantastic clients in West Kelowna.

The center section with glass shelves illuminates, and the handleless lower drawer unit along with the integrated Aria vent give it a streamlined look.

The waterfall countertop is a lovely added little detail which gives the cabinetry a ‘stopping point’ so it doesn’t end up looking like an endless sea of cabinetry screwed to the wall.

Since I gained a bunch of new followers recently I decided to reintroduce myself and let everyone know a little bit about me.

I was born and raised in Victoria and have been building cabinets and furniture for 20 years. I moved to the Okanagan in 2014.

I played with a lot of as a kid, so building things for a living felt like a logical step and I think it’s the biggest reason that I excel at what I do. 😂

I’ve made a lot of connections here and the opportunities that have come up lately are very exciting! I’m eternally grateful to the people who took a chance on a young guy years ago, and I’m still thankful for the people who bring their visions to me today. ❤️

Throwback to the table I made for a giveaway 3 and a half years ago; I can’t believe it has been that long!

This table is black walnut with epoxy and “Aztec Gold”.

The hairpin legs are powder coated steel. I’m really happy with how this one turned out and it now happily resides in Toronto!
