For a special colour match request, a special effect!
Client was looking for a highly rusted metallic look and the solution was working with the “Stone Effect” products and find the right colours to mix and the right spray techniques.
The result surpassed the client expectations!

One our best and fast growing Distributor, covering the area of London, ON just “killed 2 birds with 1 stroke”
In need of a new desk for the, soon to open, new Showroom, decide to not only build it with an amazing creative design but also try the new BIO Coatings, as a high quality and ecological finish.
The products chosen were NATURAL TOUCH BIO for the outstanding Hickory Tabletop and the Top of the line, AO842G20BIO, pigmented black and used as a self-sealer to get an incredible open grain black finish in Oak, for the Desk Structure.
Both products are Mono/Bi-Component, making them extremely versatile and easy to use.

Finishing with a single coat, no sealer! Is that possible?
We’ve presented here our S-MATT Line, but there’s a feature that is not very well known.
With the Clear WB AOX1018 is possible to do a finishing cycle with just 1 coat, skipping the sealer. For that, it’s just necessary to sand the raw wood/veneer with P320 and apply the single coat directly to it!
No grain raise, a very natural looking finish!
No need to detail the savings this cycle allows, in product, time and labour, by avoiding the sealer coat and sanding of it.
It’s a great solution for wall panels and other situations where coating build is not important and a very natural touch felling is needed.
For a full cycle with AOX1018, we recommend our WB Sealer FA42BIO or FA44 (both catalyzed) or the Solvent Acrylic FAC241.

“It’s all about SERVICE!”
It’s a “cliché, I know. But at ICA North America we take it seriously and we open our doors for clients to come in and discuss with us design possibilities, ask us for ideas, suggestions and new finishing solutions!
Today we’ve received Jeremy and Jo from COATS CREEK CABINETRY. They’ve made a Tour by our new Headquarters, looking at our Laboratory, Colour Dept, Production and Warehouse and we’ve ended up upstairs, in the Showroom.
They were (very) well impressed, that I can tell.
My colleague Marco Carciofi and I discussed with them Stain options, they are looking for a light Green”ish” Grey and our INK Stain System offers endless possibilities of pastel colours.
They’ve left some Oak pieces and now it’s time for our Colour Dept to prepare them and suggest 4 or 5 stain options, for them to choose with the client.
Again, “it’s all about service” and we mean it!

Today I needed to do some “hands on” work on our new Lab.
A client was looking for a finishing that looked like Gold.
We have several options, after discussing the different products and cycles, he decided to ask for a sample using Acrylic Solvent, our Product VM900, matched to a Gold”ish” colour.
They are dry now, he will pick them up tomorrow.
What you guys think, does it look good?
