Gone Fishin’!

This Tiger Wood is absolutely stunning! Paired with Country Chic’s Black Liquorice and highlighted with copper gilding wax, this piece flaunts its beauty at every angle. The Royal Brocade stencil highlights the sides of the drawers, as well as the sides of the dresser.

A newspaper clipping dated 1912 was found within the dresser. We are assuming that’s the era this piece came from!🤷‍♀️

Some patina on entire mirror.
On 4 rollers (cleaned and re-oiled).

This show-stopping piece is all about glimmering splendour during the day, and shimmering elegance at night.

The elliptical legs are painted a metallic gold with black edges.

The top is a stunning paint-pour featuring shimmering metallic golds, silvers, and blacks; paint cells; and drip-like effects.

Two coats of resin create a glass-like 3-D depth with a hardy, smooth finish.

Must see in person!

Brushed by Brandy is my hero in painting! She makes great videos, teaches well, speaks clearly, and paints like a dream. She has incredible vision and talent.

Even tho I tried to paint this piece EXACTLY like Brandy’s, it’s not…’cause I’m just not Brandy…even tho I’m very happy with the results!😉.

But I will continue to try and imitate you, Brandy! Hope you don’t mind…imitation is the highest form of praise where I come from!😊

A curvy charmer…moody and stormy one minute…and glamorous and glitzy the next…all depending on how the light hits it!

This magnificent piece is full of surprises! Its glamor and glitz are hidden until the light hits it properly, then the metallic mousses and gildings come alive🤩.

And behind the doors are 3 more hidden drawers, beautifully decoupaged in complementing colours…bringing the total to 12 drawers! (The top 3 are felt-lined).

It has levellers within its feet. It also has a small chip towards the centre of the mirror (about the size of a small pea).

This beauty is totally refurbished with maple veneer stained Dark Walnut. Deep Sea blue is used as the body colour.

Gold and copper gilding waxes adorn the hardware, decorative edges, and raised stencils.

Four hidden rollers are under this vanity for easy moving.
