This antique table has been refinished to reveal the beautiful wood grain. The wood was treated with bleach to lighten it and give it a more grey tone, reminiscent of Restoration Hardware pieces. It was then treated with white wax to further enhance the finish and seal the wood. The base has been painted in Parisian Grey chalk paint and lightly distressed. The brass hardware has been polished and restored to its former glory. Please note - one of the brass rings one one piece of hardware is missing.
Measurements:
Diameter- 26 inches/66cm
Height- 17 inches/43.5cm

Im so happy with this update! This was my first time trying wood bleaching, and it was quite effective! I finished the base in grey chalk paint, lightly distressed it and then used white wax to further enhance the grey tone achieved from the bleaching.
