Bringing my kid to work. This makes me HAPPY.

He gets to see how things are made.
He learns what hard work looks like.
He asks questions, explores, and slowly understands the value behind every piece we build.

And I get to watch it all happen, with a mix of pride and amusement.

This would not be possible if we outsourced everything somewhere else. There is something special about having our manufacturing here in Canada, where our kids can be part of it, even in the smallest ways.

That is why we will keep building locally for as long as we can. Because it is not just about furniture. It is about family, about learning, and about the moments our kids will carry with them for life. 💛

we bought the cherry twin w/ the 8in mattress for our toddler and have been loving in! Super easy installation (you only need 1 screwdriver) and finished product was so beautiful and smooth. I love the birch wood with the extra shelving at the end. So perfect for storing extra books and toys! From the beginning, we chose to design and build everything right here in Vancouver. Not because it was the cheapest option, but because it was the right one.

Keeping manufacturing local allows us to support skilled craftspeople, create meaningful jobs, and contribute to a stronger Canadian manufacturing community. Every piece we make helps sustain a network of people who care deeply about quality, safety, and the families who will use our furniture.

For our customers, it also means something important. By manufacturing locally, we can oversee every step of the process, constantly improve our designs, and make sure every product meets the standards we would want for our own children.

There is also an environmental benefit. Most of our families are in the United States and Canada, so producing in Vancouver dramatically reduces the distance our furniture needs to travel compared to products shipped from overseas. Fewer shipping miles means lower emissions and a smaller environmental footprint.

Choosing local manufacturing allows us to be more responsible, more innovative, and more connected to the families we serve.
