From faded and damaged oak to a beautiful, timeless sage green. 🌿✨ This kitchen is proof that you don’t always need to replace your cabinets to completely transform your space.

These previously oil-painted oak cabinets had seen better days. Rather than replacing perfectly good cabinetry, we gave them a whole new life with professional kitchen cabinet refinishing.

Using Benjamin Moore primer and paint, we transformed the cabinets with a beautiful sage green finish that completely changed the look and feel of this kitchen.

This one was all about bringing the character back while giving it a fresh, modern edge. The warm teak was carefully restored, the original details were preserved, and I added that gorgeous dark ribbed detail to the upper shelving for a little contrast and personality.

A piece with so much potential just waiting for someone to see it 🩷

Every restoration shop needs a quality-control manager. 🐾 He takes his job very seriously around here. Apparently, no project gets approved without a thorough inspection.

Behind every finished piece is a little bit of chaos, a lot of dust, and occasionally… a very opinionated supervisor. 🐱

Sometimes the best part of refinishing isn’t knowing exactly how you’re going to do it… it’s figuring it out. ✨

This vintage teak cabinet came to me dated, damaged, and ready for a whole new life. My client had a beautiful inspiration photo, and I knew I wanted to recreate that look with half-inch dowels.

The tricky part? Making sure every single dowel lined up perfectly without spending hours trying to piece it together.

So I changed the plan. I removed the back panel, laid it flat, and built the entire design directly on top of it.

And honestly? Those are some of my favourite moments in this work… the ones where you have to stop, rethink it, and find a better way.

Because sometimes the best ideas aren’t the ones you plan, they’re the ones you figure out along the way. 🩷

Join me for a hands-on weekend workshop where we’ll transform a dated nightstand into a beautiful, modern piece while learning the furniture refinishing process from start to finish.

Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or you’ve refinished a few pieces already, this workshop is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to tackle your own furniture projects at home.

Over two mornings we’ll cover everything from preparation and sanding to painting, finishing, and more. You’ll also receive a comprehensive workbook to take home, so you’ll have a step-by-step guide to refer back to long after the workshop is over.

This dining set came to me looking very different… but my client already had a vision for what she wanted it to become.

She wanted to move away from the dated orange oak and create something richer, warmer and more timeless, with beautiful black chairs to completely transform the look. And I think the finished result proves that sometimes your furniture doesn’t need to be replaced, it just needs a new vision.
