OMESH Networks is proud to introduce the RapidMesh OPM15 Development Kit, a wireless mesh networking development platform to be made accessible to engineers, hobbyists and electronics enthusiasts alike. OPM radios are being deployed in numerous applications of smart and new infrastructures, including: location/tracking networks (context computing), wireless sensor networks, building automation, emergency networks, vehicular and broadband networks.

To provide access to the hobbyist market, we have designed this feature loaded RapidMesh OPM15 Development Kit. We wish to share the product with entrepreneur communities, and explore the future of smart infrastructures!

OPM15 radio receives FCC and IC certification!

With these certifications, OEM integrators and developers may now have the OPM15 radio to power wireless applications and innovations without re-certificating the end system in U.S., Canada and other countries that rely on the regulatory approvals of FCC and IC.

The OPM (Opportunistic Wireless Mesh) technology can provide the most reliable and cost-effective wireless bandwidth when used to build the networking infrastructure of large-scale wireless systems. The technology is different from that used in traditional wireless networking, being comparable in significance to how packet switched technology (Internet) is different from circuit switched technology (telephone networks) in wire-line networks. The commercial potentials can be comparable: it is creating a new world where high-bandwidth and low-cost communications become possible, for wireless and mobile devices.
