A recent project for a client in Hamilton. It’s made up of 3 separate units, each designed to work as either a stand alone cabinet or tied to the others to make a single console.

Made from birch plywood and finished in a hand rubbed hard wax oil, this piece was designed and built in our studio in Erin.

This built in wardrobe unit adds a huge amount of versatile storage. The upper cabinets follow the angle of the vaulted ceiling, increasing the functional storage.

The doors are finished in Rubio Natural, bringing out the warmth of the red oak and subtly highlighting the grain.

Vertical lighting, soft close drawer slides and push to open hardware all add to the functionality of the project.

This built in wardrobe unit adds a huge amount of versatile storage. The upper cabinets follow the angle of the vaulted ceiling, increasing the functional storage.

Really enjoyed designing and executing this entryway space. The focus was on functionality and simple shapes. We went with a clear coat finish to bring out the natural warmth of the red oak with touches of black to modernize the look and complement the existing feel of the room.

With place to sit, store your coat and shoes and a tray for your wallet and keys, it creates usable storage without sacrificing too much space.
