Big news.
- We are moving. August 1st.
The Flint location becomes just another industrial shop that does some kind of business you never heard of. I wish this box of cinder blocks the best. I hope the next tenants feed of all the good energy I’ve had here and build something special.
- We are moving just south of Barrie, specifically Angus. Yes, it’s much further, but it’s also much cheaper. My rent is about to jump to 22K a month, and the amount of tables I need to sell, and more importantly - build, is not something I’m interested in. Our strength is unique, incretibly well build tables, and is not in-line with mass production business model.
- We will hold 3 big sales to help get rid of existing stock, as well as give me a chance to say goodbye to the shop and see all my customers I’ve become friends with over the years. Its really important to me to see you guys and gals. So please come.
- We will hold a big goodbye party at the end, with the biggest pile of FREE stuff, gifts and even Barbeque. This will be a week before I close the door for the final time. Be there or be square!
Needless to say, those that know me, know its been a rollercoaster of hustle, stress and tears. I resisted this move until the very end, and gave it all I had. Unfortunately or Fortunately, the universe has other plans for me.
I’ve received so many good-will gestures and love from everyone I’ve talked to; it truly made me understand that these last 8 years at this shop has been worth every goddamn minute. If you’ve read this post to this point, YOU are a piece of the crazy puzzle that is Anglewood, and I appreciate you with all my heart.
