Kelcy Timmons Chan is a Cantonese Canadian American q***r pop artist and mural painter based in Toronto. Through their lens as a biracial gender-fluid immigrant, Kelcy explores food as a love language, amplifying stories of immigrant and family-run restaurants while highlighting the connection between cultural foods, history, land, and community. Their signature "little purple people" motif celebrates the presence of the LGBTQIA+ community and the intersection of their Asian heritage and q***r identity, creating vibrant scenes that reflect immigrant and q***r spaces and the meaning of home and belonging.
