The framed entry point of the Waskesiu Beach Pavilion in Saskatchewan provides picturesque views of the lake and surrounding wildlife. Kebony cladding and decking work harmoniously with glazed concrete and translucent glass to offer a soothing aesthetic from any angle. Designed by 1x1 architecture, shot by Lisa Stinner-Kun.

Astounding. A forest of Cypress has been discovered at the bottom of the sea, and the resident shipworms and related marine organisms could serve as incubators of unexpected medicines, churning out new lifesaving formulas and compounds that may not be found anywhere else on the planet.

Before this underwater forest disappears, scientists recently raced to search for shipworms and other sea life that might conceal medicine of the future.
