Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour residential school Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and acknowledge the lasting impact on Indigenous families and communities.

Reconciliation requires more than recognition. It calls on us to listen to Indigenous voices, deepen our understanding, and carry that responsibility into how we treat one another every day.
