While the aesthetic appeal is not to be overlooked, it should not be the starting point of the design process in our opinion.⁠

When we start designing a piece of furniture we begin by understanding who will use it, how it will be used, what will its purpose be, how will it get shipped and what will the experience of assembling it be like. Only after we have a good understanding of the aforementioned and we've come up with good solutions, is when we start focusing on how the furniture looks. ⁠
