14ft Flat Bottom Dory Made to Order

We are now taking orders for a 14ft flat bottomed dory with a beam of 6ft and a draft of 5 inches. The dory is constructed with a wooden frame and plywood hull with the exterior fibre glassed and gel coated to form a durable unibody structure. This boat can handle a 20hp outboard motor and up to 50hp with a remote tiller. The general weight of the boat is roughly 500lbs with a displacement of 1400lbs.

This would be an excellent work boat or pleasure craft for fishing or cruising around the Island for the summer. The rugged construction and wide flat bottom makes for a very sturdy, seaworthy vessel. It is a perfect size for a first boat that could handle the ocean or a fair sized river. It can easily seat 4-6 people.
