When the wood looks this good, you protect it.

The grain, the colour, the natural character. That’s what makes every piece of hardwood unique.

And keeping it looking its best matters just as much as building it right.

That’s why we use Osmo finishes to help protect the wood while letting its natural beauty speak for itself.

6–12 weeks might sound like a long time for a dining table.
But your table isn’t sitting in a corner waiting for its turn.

There’s wood to prepare, pieces to cut and join, surfaces to sand, and a finish that needs time to cure.

That’s what goes into building a custom hardwood table.

This is one of our favourite parts of being a woodworker. Seeing a piece of walnut we worked on become the centre of someone’s home.

And with the holidays around the corner, we love knowing this table will be part of so many gatherings and memories.

Custom builds take 6–12 weeks, so if you’re thinking about your own, let’s start planning.

Handcrafted right here in Edmonton.

Why walnut? Because some furniture decisions are worth thinking long-term.

Rich natural grain, warm tones, and solid hardwood that can be enjoyed for years. A walnut dining table isn’t just about how your dining room looks today. It’s about choosing a piece you’ll still love years from now.

Handcrafted takes time. Time is luxury.

Time to understand your space.
Time to choose the right hardwood.
Time to build, sand, finish and inspect every detail.

Our custom hardwood furniture does not begin in a warehouse. It begins with your Edmonton home and the life that will happen around it.

Choosing a wood species isn’t just about which sample looks best on the wall.

It’s about what already lives in your home.

Walnut gives you a mix of light, medium and deep brown tones, which is why it works across so many interiors.

Maple makes sense when you’re trying to work with an existing floor, railing or cabinetry because it takes stain extremely well.

Oak brings more visible grain and texture, which can also make everyday scratches feel a little less obvious over time.

The goal isn’t to make every wood tone match.

It’s to make the room feel like it belongs together.

Here is what September looked like from our side of the workbench.

The conversations were less about chasing one particular style and more about making the right decisions before the build begins.

Will the table fit the room properly?
Can it handle everyday use?
Can it be repaired or refinished?
Will it still work for the family years from now?

That is where custom begins.

Not with a trend. With the room, the people, and the way the table needs to work.

Planning a custom table before the year ends? October is the time to start the conversation.
