Our friend and decades-long customer, Don Green (Roots Canada co-founder) taking delivery of yet more of our historic Canadian furniture for his Algonquin Park cottage this week. It’s always nice to get up to the park and have a catchup with our customers.

A special cabinet for a special place. The ask: firewood and kindling storage just outside the door. The cabinet was designed in a simple style with an angled gable to “just fit” and finished with our outdoor finish to protect it from the elements. Today a customer brought us a Pioneer Handcraft bed rail today to be used as a sample to make a replacement. The bed rail is at least 70 years old and still has its original antique square nuts that were used by our company in the 40's and 50's. How many Canadian companies can you name that are still reliably making parts and pieces for a product that they produced over 70 years ago? Just one more reason to invest in our furniture.
