This Skylar Peppler dresser is some of my favorite to refinish. Just an out dated piece needed an updated cause the quality is so good. I’ve been on the hunt for a beautiful dark navy so I created my own and I just love the color. Paired with a medium brown stain, it truly is a beautiful combination. By removing the plastic inserts, adding fluting and trim, oak foundation and base, new k***s, it’s a whole new piece!

Matching nightstands available.

Back in 2020 when Covid hit and life was on pause was when I really started experimenting with building bases, removing old bases, adding fluting etc to pieces because I was home and had the time. Really elevating my pieces to the next level.

I love working with power tools and using materials that can really change the look of existing furniture.

This piece was a lot of work but making all the changes was worth it in my opinion.

It really is an art form. When you take a piece of furniture that's seen decades of wear, you aren't just giving it a cosmetic face-lift — you're rewriting its story.

Slapping a coat of paint on a surface is one thing, but true transformation is a masterclass in patience and technique. It's about respecting the underlying material, added and updated as needed, knowing how to fix structural flaws, and choosing a finish that highlights the piece's best features while ensuring it lasts for another generation
