A bank of drawers to compliment the desk in my office space is now complete. The front drawers are grain matching solid walnut and and since the back was going to be exposed I went the extra mile to ensure the back was given the most attention with the patchwork design. No space wasted either with the hidden drawer in the kick plate space out the back too.

It only took me a year of working from home to realize I needed to up my office space game 😂. I transformed two locally sourced elm slabs into a modern desk with walnut details. A bank of drawers still to come.

So long always dusty tools!! Finally a cabinet that makes my tools accessible in one place and store the ones I don’t use often. The inset door hinges and drawers won’t collect dust like overlay doors would, and the French cleat shelves store the small stuff. A few finishing touches before I fill it up and get back to other projects.

I finally came to the realization that my garage is in a desperate need of reorganizing and I can no longer deny it. Multiple shelving units holding “stuff” but not really functioning as I need. So I figured why not try my hands at Sketchup and build something that will fit the space exactly as I want it to. Stay tuned for the finished product.
