We are beyond excited to welcome everyone back to the beautiful South Saskatchewan River for another unforgettable summer with The Local Adventure Company!

For the past seven summers, you have supported our dream of helping people experience Saskatoon from a whole new perspective — right along the stunning Meewasin and the South Saskatchewan River. From first-time paddlers to sunset cruisers, families, tourists, and adventure seekers, we are so grateful for every single person who has joined us on the water over the years.

To everyone who paddled with us, explored the water, laughed under open skies, trusted us with your stories, and chose to support local — thank you.

Every adventure we host is about more than kayaks, rivers, or routes.
It’s about connection — to the land, to culture, to each other, and to moments that slow us down and remind us who we are.

This evening I was given the opportunity to be on the other side of the SOAR Indigenous Pitch competition as a guest Judge! (It was almost as nerve wrecking😳)

So inspiring to sit with 300+ guests in attendance and hear the personal “why’s” of 4 contenders!

Congratulations to the Metis sister duo of PYT- Pretty Young Thing Studio for taking home $15,000 to expand their company to include more employees and a new space!
