Twas the night before Christmas at Sorensen MacDonald’s yard,
Where the crushers fell silent, the day working hard
The conveyors were resting, the screens taking pause
And dump trucks sat waiting in straight rows because

All day they’d been rolling through gravel and grit
Hauling rock from the quarry and sand from the pit
Excavators shimmered in soft moonlit beams
Still dusted with earth from the day’s busy scenes.

We’d sorted the sand and we’d crushed down the stone
From boulders to gravel the loaders had thrown
With teamwork and steel and that hard-working cheer
We built every road we’ve completed this year

Today, we pause with gratitude and respect for the brave men and women who stood in the face of unimaginable hardship so that we could live in freedom.

To every soldier who served, and to the families who waited, worried, and sacrificed alongside them, we thank you. Your courage, loyalty, and strength built the foundation this country stands on.

We remember not just the battles fought overseas, but the quiet battles carried home the stories, the scars, and the unshakable pride of those who gave everything for something greater than themselves.

From all of us at Sorensen MacDonald, thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your example.
We will remember. 🌺

It’s been a busy past month at Sormac!
From trucking material for the new recycling centre project to handling a mix of deliveries and excavation work, we’ve been keeping the machines moving and the jobs rolling.

Haven’t had much time to post lately, but we’re always out there getting it done 👷‍♂️
