This is a customer's antique dresser that I refinished. It is 100% solid oak, and was made in the early 1900's in Ontario, Canada. It's been stripped, scraped, sanded, pre-stained, stained and finished with wipe-on poly. The new handles/pulls with pretty details are from Lee Valley.
Clean and bright and ready for the next 100 years!

BEANS!!! Tonight, I am trying a "rustic Tuscan" bean recipe. I am using up pantry staples and veggies from the fridge before I head out to the grocery store today. These are beans we grew last year and I think even a couple years ago!! I don't always get through them all, lol!
Why post about home grown beans on a furniture refinishing account? Because, this is another way I am making positive changes for the planet :)
Growing these suckers is SO easy! And they taste good raw or steamed too! We often leave them to dry on the fence and shell them in the late winter!! Are you planting anything to eat in 2024??
