Picking up a few walnut logs from a backyard in Ottawa. It worked out great. The log arch was a great help for getting the heavy logs through the narrow passage beside the house. Special thanks to Paul and Gabriel for their help. Thanks to Geoff for taking the pictures.

Extra large slices of Silver Maple with beautiful grain and effects.

We completed another custom order today: it was a ladder for the loft in our neighbor's place. We used white ash, and matched the stain to their floor and stairs. Interestingly, the wood that was used in the ladder came originally from a tree in their property.
