These two old timers were in a very poor shape. We restored the broken foot, took them apart and sanded off the finish only to uncover lots of holes from 3 layers of upholstering on top of each other and deep staining of the overdried wood. We reglued the parts for stability and filled every little hole. After lots of sanding, priming our clients made a choice of painting it and they are very happy with how these magnificent chairs turned out! And we are happy when the clients are happy!
