Imagine a day to relax and read your next great novel. With this project you will have a place to put your book, hold your coffee and place your reading glasses. Paint this gorgeous book stand that holds your current place until you can read again! This would make a wonderful gift for a loved one.

What is included:

* a book stand made from reclaimed wood by DH Designs
* your choice of colour - Fusion Mineral Paint from my open paint collection and painting supplies
* a book of your choice from The Book Was Better, a vendor in the YQR Vintique Market
* a matching mug of your choice from the Thrift Area at the YQR Vintique Market

Partnering with DH Designs and The Book Was Better, this painting class is $50. Please book via e-transfer at [email protected] with password classone. There are 12 spots available in this class. A second class of 12 will be held on November 16th, 2025. As a tip wear an old t-shirt, this paint will not come off of clothing once dried!

My favourite little corner of my booth! Antique chippy desk with a green chair and an incredible rare AEG Mignon 1923 pointer typewriter. Painters have asked what colour I used on the chair. I like to use it as an example of how a piece of furniture ages over time, with hands touching the arms multiple times. Original paint!
