Well everyone , its getting close to that time of year . Those of you with Suburban a W/H , this is your anode rod , the top one is new , the middle one is used and still good , the bottom one is finished . They are the sacrificial rod in your W/H that prevents the water tank from corroding , if your anode rod looks like the bottom one , you defiantly need a new one and you should have your tank flushed out before installing a new one
