After a winter of recovery, rebuilding and increasing capacity for shop use, very happy to finally announce that we are opening again for material orders. Live edge, barm beam, wood products and services are now available again. It has been a long process, but able to again meet custom wood orders. Stop by weekdays 8-430 pm or DM the page.

The shop has been forced closed for last 3 weeks, unforeseen closure and unable to get regular access. Apologies to those waiting on order, shop is scheduled to reopen for finish work by August 7, work will commence again then.

Getting into spring big bore milling season finally...wonderful large.pine processing this week, 36", 44" and even 50" wide slabs coming out of some big old growth NB pine...what neat features on this old stuff.

Mantles and fireplace hearths made from these very rare beams add a touch of nostalgia and history to your home.

Hand hewn in 1908 by settling German Mennonites in St Jacobs Ontario, these trees were over 100 years old when originally cut, making them over 210 years old.

Preserved with dowels and all connection slots, they are perfect for a great feature in your home.

These are the 18x18 and 12 x 12 mains from the barn, 2 in Ash, 1 in Cherry and 1 in Hemlock, as well as a pine cross beam.

Can be milled to your required dimensions, 8 and 10ft lengths.

Live edge and mill sawn mantles also available.
