Just wrapped this little run of cabinets to make use of this otherwise awkward space. This house had no front closet for coats so we used this under stair space to make a small closet and some fancy shoe storage. Getting that angle to line up in this 60s built home was no joke. I think I’ll stick to squares for the next while! 😅

Let the games begin! Just dropped this custom gaming table off to the loveliest of clients today (how my only excellent client streak continues is beyond me!). This table has a removable top to allow for a marathon gaming sesh to go undisturbed during meals and removable cup holders so no spills will happen on the gaming surface. This is definitely going to be the place they and their friends will want to be for some epic game nights!

Many thanks to Anna at for helping me find the perfect fabric to line the game surface. It turned out perfectly!

These clients recently downsized and were hoping to add some storage and seating space with some old maple countertops they had salvaged from their old home and some simple IKEA Besta units they had purchased. The maple was dying for a makeover (peep its old colour on slide 3!), so after a good sanding, cut to size and fresh finish, they’ve got have a nice bright banquet space, perfect for a cozy Christmas breakfast!

Finished up this vanity today for this moody blue bathroom. My clients did such a lovely job of picking finishes for this space and I’m so happy they let me have a part in it. The stained maple complemented this incredibly cool (and heavy!) vessel sink nicely, and the handmade drawer pulls tied everything together really well. Pretty pleased with how this one came out! Now what lighting do we prefer? 👀

Heading down to to drop off these twice reclaimed barnwood frames I made for their new location on Smirle Ave off Wellington. The wood for these frames was salvaged from their first location and turned into frames to commemorate their business’ growth. I don’t often work with barnwood but this project felt special. And how cute is this painting by ?! If you don’t go for the baking, drop in to check out the art up close! I’m obviously going to have to get myself a little treat to celebrate another completed project, especially when the offerings are so delectable!

My most favourite things to build are the ones I can make for my son. He’s just turned 5 and recently entered his Lego era, and already has a growing collection of sports medals. I made him this floating shelf to show off things he’s proud of, plus other fun things we’re collecting like this art piece by and our fave mascot, Ace (go Jays!). The shelf has a removable bar so we can keep adding to his medal collection, but could also be used for other hangable things.

Had some free time today so I put a frame around this masterpiece by my fave up and coming artist: my son! He made this at his old daycare (at age 3!) and it’s been hanging on our wall frameless for the last year and I’ve been meaning to dress it up ever since. Today it finally got the love it deserves. 🥰
