The sunny days have given me inspiration for these guys. Beachy, light, and airy vibes!

Hard to believe these are the same tables.
Both tables were sanded down, leaving the top surface wood. Wanted to keep the wood light, poly to protect. The frame & drawers painted in a custom mixed blue tone, poly to protect. The new k***s and handles match the top surface tones perfectly!

How fresh is this transformation?!

I imagine these would look great at a cottage, but can be used for just about anywhere! Great as nightstands or end tables.

Both nightstands were sanded and painted in a grey/brown/beige tone. Breige? That's it. 💡
Poly to protect. The new k***s and handles are what makes these guys, to me anyways! 🌞

I think the drawer engraving and the chunky details now just... work. 😊

Great nightstands or end tables/side tables! Drawers are fully functional, and provide plenty of storage space!

Heather came to me a few weeks ago to do this identical longer version of this dresser, now it was time to get the tallboy to match!

This IKEA dresser has been painted entirely in black, poly to protect. The original hardware fits right in still as well!

Amazing what some paint can do to change up a furniture piece! This will go so much better in Heather's design ideas for her space!

COMMISSION PIECE:

Due to space restrictions, not all pieces are shown. This bedroom set consists of, tallboy, two large nightstands, long dresser, head-board & foot-board.

This was a very large (and heavy!) project, but I think it's totally worth it. The outcome is spectacular!

Rhonda wanted her bedroom set to be changed up a bit. I think we've achieved it! The wood surfaces and bottom edging were in fine condition, so we left any wood surfaces as is. Any minor dings or scuffs have been filled in with stain markers and stain crayons. The frame, drawers, and doors were all primed and painted using a deep blue tone paint that Rhonda provided. New handles and k***s completes it perfectly.

This entire set is sure to change up her space now!

The first mountain scene dresser was pretty well received... figured I'd try my hand at it again! ⛰️🌄

This dresser needed more work. It's hard to see in the before photo, but this guy had a lot dings and repairs needed.

The original legs and base were broken, I replaced the frame and legs.

The entire dresser was sanded, and filled in multiple areas. Lots of fine detail work on this one. I tried my best to hide where the original k**b holes were.
Then came the creative part, the bottom portion of the dresser was painted black, and then various stains to create the mountain effect. Everything then received multiple coats of poly to protect.

This dresser does still have a few surface imperfections, but doesn't affect functionality at all!

I could stare at this all day! What a beautiful piece to wake up to every day! 🏔

These over-sized night stands have had a full makeover!

The orange red tone just had to go!

These came to me with quite a bit of surface damage. Both tables were sanded down completely. Wood areas stained using Minwax Early American and Varathane Briarsmoke, poly to protect. The rest painted black and poly to protect. New black handles completes them!

I just love the warm and moody vibes these big guys give off now!

I don't believe everything needs to be matchy matchy... I thought these guys had similar lines and style, now they match, but don't at the same time!

Both tables were sanded down fully, wood areas were re-stained in Minwax Provincial, poly to protect. All other areas primed and painted in linen white tone, poly to protect. The original hardware on both tables were completely fine, just needed some sprucing up with gold spray.

They went from looking like plastic to sophisticated and clean! The wood just pops against the white!

Sometimes being different is what makes things even more special.

These would make for great nightstands or end tables!
