MAHOGANY CHEST ON CHEST BY GIBBARD ($475)

Circa 1970s solid mahogany 7 drawer chest on chest built by the highly esteemed Gibbard Furnitire Co. right here in our great country Canada. This is one piece in the Canadian Legacy series collection which is part of a bedroom suite. Top surface, drawer supports, front corner pillars, side panels, drawer faces and bracket are all solid mahogany. It’s in original condition and does exhibit some cosmetic wear consistent with age and use, yet overall shows very well. Drawers have lock-rabbet joinery, a dust cover between each, all 7 opening and closing with effortless ease. The top drawer possesses removable divisions and valuables tray The second drawer from the bottom also possesses removable divisions. A brand new dresser made here in Canada built to this high-quality specification in solid mahogany would cost thousands. Beautifully made circa 1980s English Country loveseat built by Barrymore. Well cared for exhibiting no wear and could pass for new. Frame is solid maple with light ash legs. Springs and webbing are fully intact, providing excellent support. Seat foam has great loft with no sagging, while the back cushion offers outstanding comfort. Both cushion covers are zippered for easy cleaning, and armrest covers are included.

Would be a fabulous addition to a sunroom or at the cottage!

Beautifully made circa-1960s armchair featuring the unmistakable low-slung styling of the era. This chair has been exceptionally well cared for in a formal living room and exhibits very little wear, reflecting how rarely it was used.

Built to last with a solid maple frame and solid ash legs, remaining as sturdy and comfortable as the day it was made. The springs and webbing are fully intact, providing excellent support. It was likely professionally reupholstered years ago, as the seat foam has great loft with no sagging, while the feather-filled back cushions offer outstanding comfort. Both cushion covers are zippered for easy cleaning, and armrest covers are included.

Pair of Circa 1950s 12" diameter green enamel industrial lights exhibiting authentic wear patina befitting of their age, yet show well overall. From a heritage building here in Oshawa and were working at the time of their removal. They were covered in paint and were painstakingly cleaned. The conduit on one of the lights was cleaned to show how nice the raw metal can look.

Lots of uses for these. As an example, you could get conduit bent to turn them into gooseneck lights over a doorway, or perhaps over a kitchen island at the cottage.
