I love restoration hardware, I don't love the price tag... so I was happy to get the chance to create one of their pieces, using a CNC base made from a great supplier in Ontario! It's another one of my new favourite styles.

I love sending home a complete set! This resourceful client brought me raw wood IKEA chairs to finish in the same rustic style as her table and bench, so it all matches. Also, I think the hourglass base is my favourite design! Love those curves.

Hey everyone! I’m slowly starting to get back into the swing of things around here, as the new baby/COVID dust settles. Our youngest turns one tomorrow, and we’re just starting back up with daycare for our older one. I’m carving out some build time where I can, but it’s slow going. I’ll take on as much as I can, but I’m going to be choosy about which projects I tackle for the time being. I’m looking forward to being back in the shop!

Maybe some of the worst product shots I’ve taken... but the clients were here for pick up and I’d completely forgotten to do a proper shoot. So here we are. Greys for days on a straight leg table and matching bench ...in a crowded, messy workshop.

Custom narrow dresser/cabinet... drawers on one side, cabinet on the other two. We were able to come in on budget by cutting back in areas that don’t really matter... unfinished wood on the interior, and no back on the cabinet.

Holy shmoly belt sanders are messy. I took advantage of the little window of good weather we had yesterday and moved outside to start the slab. As much as I love chatter marks, they’re not ideal for a desk. The belt sander made short work of them... and also coated everything in sawdust within a 6ft radius.
