The first of many times we’ll see the Mallo collection wrapped in mohair fabric. This beauty was created with care for and will soon be heading to its new home right here in Downtown Vancouver.

The elegant lines, softened corners, and signature top border of this collection feel especially at home in this fabric .
Rich, understated, and quietly luxurious.

Mohair is a natural fibre, prized for centuries for both its beauty and durability. Unlike many synthetic yarns, it has an organic depth and movement that catches the light in such a unique way.

Not all mohair is created equal. The weave of this particular mohair is constructed on a slight angle to create a soft, lustrous sheen that brings even more dimension to the sculptural curves of the sectional.

A fabric that feels timeless, wears exceptionally well, and only gets better with age. Exactly what we intend for our furniture as well. 🤎

One year ago today, I lost my mom — Hawla Dalrymple a true legend . 👑🤍

She wasn’t just my mother. She was a huge part of this business — the original backbone of it. She taught me the trade of upholstery from the ground up and gave me my passion for furniture. She showed me how to work hard and enjoy doing it.

She was so proud of our entire team. She was the one who made sure we celebrated birthdays, celebrated the wins, and kept everyone’s spirits up. And in the early days when we were facing the hardest projects, she was our “big guns” — stepping in with strength, confidence, and experience.

I know she was proud that I followed in her footsteps and enjoyed seeing my business evolve into something even greater than she could’ve imagined.

Your legacy lives on in me and in this team. I hope you’re looking down from heaven, smiling at what we’ve accomplished. 🤍

The clients added a few more ffabb pieces: a Jumbalow Juicy Sofa and two swivel chairs.

She trusted her intuition, envisioning an armless sofa that feels relaxed and open, not banquette-like. The bump-out extension creates the perfect perch to chat with the chef at that stunning island behind.

And their sweet 18-year-old pup, who rarely hops on furniture, has found his new favourite spot on the Casual Mallo chaise end. 🐾
