People have been asking me for over ten years now.
"How long will the two-tone kitchen last"?

Well... I haven't seen it even begin to start drifting back to a single color cabinet kitchen. In fact a very high percentage of our kitchens are mixed colors and textures.

Here is a Lower Lonsdale Penthouse...although this kitchen has many beautiful features and appliances, this one is all about the splash. I love it when my clients want to make such a bold statement.

Not only that...but these people love to cook!

A client after my own heart! I love purple but have never decorated with it in my own house, except for just a few accents. All of the cabinetry is by Cornerstone and the Decorating and Interior Design was done by my good friend, designer Susan Jobber.

The wall that the bar is on is curved and I have decided that I don't do curved walls anymore! Well, maybe-now that I have done this one-it just took a very long time to figure out what to order cabinetry wise.

This is a penthouse suite in downtown and has 2 full stories plus a roof top deck with a hot tub and out door kitchen.
The reno was done during the pandemic and a special shout out to Nik Lauder with Lauder Construction who waited months to get the permit and then had to rush to get the work done before move in.

The kitchen cabinetry is high gloss white paired with clear coat on walnut and the countertops is one of my new favorites, LG Lumina.

One of my favorite projects this past year.

Tired of ALWAYS seeing White Kitchens? I guess these clients were, so they went to the extreme and did charcoal!

The nice thing is, we made it work. There are a lot of areas that are lighter which reflect the light...check out the floor, the backsplash, countertop, paint colours,lights, and appliances.

All good!

Whenever we can, we like to place a separate place for garbage and recycling but in cases where that isn't possible then here is a handy solution...Attach the under sink doors to a drawer box and there you have it, an easy to reach, organized garbage and recycling centre located in a space that usually ends up as a catch all!

Door Style: 2.5" shaker square profile
Flooring: Vinyl Plank

The Experience: All the Bulkheads throughout the room were completely removed. Now the Cabinetry is hiding a multitude of sins! Behind the window valance and many of the uppers and tall cabinets are unsightly drains, pipes, vents. But it all covered up by white melamine and since it is so high up, it's already forgotten about!
