Our focus is to assist private & corporate landowners with the stewardship of their lands, including property taxation, tree planting, tree marking, harvesting & bird, plant & tree inventories. ing of more than one million board feet of timber and firewood per year. Trees unlimited delivers managed forestry projects, tree marking, timber sales, vegetation & bird surveys & aerial spraying. We have coordinated the planting of 1.78 million native tree & shrub seedlings as part of a Niagara Peninsula strategic woodland and fragile land restoration program using ecological restoration principles through adaptive management techniques. More than 1,755 acres (710 ha) have been successfully restored to early successional, mid-tolerant mixed woodlands with wetland and prairie/meadow components. TU has also coordinated the aerial treatment of more than 25,000 ac of deciduous forest as part of an integrated pest management program to control the European gypsy moth.
