Our next group will be about how to keep ourselves safe. If we have not learned how to do that we do not safe. If we do not feel safe, we will often feel angry, as our physiology is activated. Our Anger becomes evident when our boundaries and expectations are shattered. We need boundaries to keep us safe, happy and confident.

“Boundaries are a life enhancing system of “yes‟” and “no‟s.” They are stop signs and borders you install to protect yourself so that it is clear that you own your life, make good choices, and pursue the authentic expression of who you are in the way you live, love, give and relate.”
“Boundaries are a limit you set between yourself and people due to thoughts, activities and things that aren‟t in your best interest” (Source: Black, J. & Enns, G. (1997) Better Boundaries: Owning and Treasuring Your Life. Oakland, CA. Raincoast Books)

Facebook has been "helping" again.
What do I mean? They just changed the Notifications for group members again. They have automatically switched members of most groups to receive “𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀” instead of “𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀”. This means that you will only see about one in ten posts on any group you are in (even if you’ve updated this in the past). To change this setting, you have to go to the group page--for every group you’re in--and do the following:
1. Click the 3 dots on the top right of the 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗣 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 page "..." or if on a mobile device click on the dots at the top right of your screen
2. Click "𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀"
3. Change from “𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀” to “𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀”.
They did it to me in some other groups.

Attachment also directly affects the “experiencedependent maturation” of the infant brain, most particularly the right orbital prefrontal cortex
•In the words of Allan Schore, “The early social
environment, mediated by the primary caregiver,
directly influences the final wiring of the circuits
in the infant brain that are responsible for the
future social and emotional coping capacities of
the individual.”
