Nadine Hajjar Studio

Nadine Hajjar Studio I shape wood into useful objects meant to inspire your everyday. I also realized that wood was my favorite canvas.

I started my career as an interior architect, only to realize that I had a natural affinity to objects–their shape, texture and function. I followed my instincts to Milan where I specialized in furniture and industrial design, a discipline that satisfied my urge to create, but also to produce. It is through my interaction with this noble and generous material, and through shaping objects I once imagined into life, that I felt complete as a designer.

Galet in black. One last time in the studio before they leave. The custom bar and console side by side with mama. Black strips away the finish talk. What’s left is just form - the rhythm of the shapes. The way light still finds the curves.

Wet look and soft as skin. Pretty is the disguise. Galet still does the heavy lifting.

Work in progress. This piece is about accumulation, about abundance. Every surface here is tactile — built layer by layer, by hand. This is where comfort lives in my work: in the texture, in the repetition, in the making itself.

A single bold base, centered — holding the n table to the ground. There is something I have always sought in that: to be anchored. In people, in places, in things that root me.

Coralis is inspired by my mediterranean origins.
Created with corals in mind and carved out of white ash, their design blurs the line between mineral and animal esthetics.
