A family owned woodworking shop that specializes in custom butcher blocks, wood countertops and hand crafted furniture with reclaimed and new materials locally sourced & crafted with love. The Knotty's process:

First we select premium lumber, then we craft it, dry fit it, final assembly, then apply the desired finish and enjoy. At Knotty's we specialize in butcher block countertops. We make them

custom length, width, and thickness. When it comes to butcher blocks we have the nicest and widest selection to choose from, 30 in total. 26 hard woods and 4 soft. Our wood has been kiln dried to avoid any unnecessary warping or splitting, We use premium food safe and water resistant glue. Our standard finish is 100% food grade butcher block oil. The prices located on our website are based on edge grain butcher blocks, our most common form. We also offer end grain and face grain butcher blocks, contact us for more information. We are also more then willing to mix and match woods for the unique one-of-a-kind look your after. Our butcher blocks range from 3/4" - 6" thick and single pieces as long as 14 feet (168") please visit our website at www.knottys.ca for additional info.
