After much procrastinating, I’ve finally started building a section onto my company website for a blog. Woot! 😀 I’ve been meaning to do this for, well, months now lol. But always something that pops up that gives us an opportunity for an excuse to put that important task off! 😶

But it’s started and time has been allotted daily for it. So now just to keep at it! 😀 Which is sometimes, ok most of the times, easier said than done. I read a lot for inspiration myself. Not much books, but blogs, news articles, guides, etc. Movies are a pretty good source of inspiration too sometimes, but they’re a bit of a commitment time-wise 😂

Ambition can be a double edged knife - on one hand it’s great because it keeps us motivated, but on the other hand, too much ambition in a project can cause it’s scope to get way out of hand!

But that’s not to say we should ever ignore or stifle our ambition! We should instead prioritize our ambitions, and focus on what’s most important first. Then just move down the list 😀

If you’re the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room.

But what if you’re alone?? 😂 For serious though, not really sure who said it, but it’s a great quote and very true. If you aren’t being challenged, you will stagnate and never grow. The other point I see is if you walk around with a bloated ego, you’re blocking yourself from growing. Stay humble and passionate!

2019 is gonna be a big year for Unity - I’m particularly interested in the huge optimizations they’ve done to their engine. Millions of objects on-screen will be much much easier to achieve, even on mobile!

The folks at Unity have really been working super hard updating their engine/editor and have really come a long long way in the past 10 years. It’s truly a competitor now to that beast of an engine Unreal. 😃

Another great quote! With so much celebrity/influencer drama and other distractions going on these days, it's sometimes easier said than done.

Instead of spending time talking/discussing celebrities/influencers, invest that time into yourself. Spend a lil bit of time each day learning, or mull over your interests and passions. Anything but living someone else's life! Your time is more valuable than that!

Cold and snowy out there, but warm in here 😃 Whoever invented the furnace should definitely get a medal or something! 😂 Actually she did get a nice award, and even has an award named after her now. Awesome!
