Making useful and attractive, not to mention more comfortable, furniture from free or inexpensive marketplace finds is so rewarding and just makes so much sense!! And in a world of uncertainty, doing something that is good for the planet and my community makes me feel less hopeless. Knowing that I have made other lives easier and more comfortable at the same time is the icing on the cake with a cherry on top.
I reupholstered these 2 chairs as a gift to a wonderful second-time new mom and the new big brother. I managed to get them done and delivered less than 24hrs after baby arrived, and now everyone is more comfortable if sleep deprived.
